Two Fatalities Reported in Road Accident on Milot-Rrëshen Route
A serious accident occurred on the National Road segment connecting Milot and Rrëshen, near the Rubik village. Emergency responders confirmed that two individuals died and five others sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision. The accident involved two vehicles driven by Albanian citizens.
According to police reports, a vehicle operated by N. P., 61, collided with a vehicle driven by D. P., 30.
Sadly, the driver of the first vehicle, N. P., and D. P.’s father, F.
P., approximately 57, were pronounced dead at the scene. Five other individuals, including the driver of the second vehicle, D. P., and four passengers, were transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for treatment.
All of the injured sustained serious injuries in the accident. The Albanian police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident on the Milot-Rrëshen route. Further details will be released as they become available.
