According to Çitaku, LVV views the agreement as mere words.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has voiced strong disapproval of Vetëvendosje, asserting that the party demonstrated a lack of commitment to supporting a crucial resolution concerning the protection of war victims. Following the rejection of their proposal as the first item for discussion, the PDK promptly withdrew from the assembly hall. Deputy Vlora Citaku, along with Përmban Gruda, issued statements in the building’s lobby.

Citaku emphasized the need for a resolution that would encompass all political parties. LVV views the agreement as merely words. She argued that their efforts were aimed at safeguarding historical truth and honoring the sacrifices made by those affected during the final conflict in Kosovo.

Citaku contends that the initial stages of revisionism involve sowing confusion, generating complex questions, and establishing false equivalencies. The intention was to address the situation through a unified approach, acknowledging the importance of confronting historical distortions and upholding the rights of those impacted by the war. Citaku stressed the resolution’s significance in combating manipulation and promoting a genuine understanding of the past.
