The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Ferizaj has formally petitioned the Basic Court in Ferizaj to review the pre-trial detention measure concerning an individual identified as E.Gj. The request stems from suspicions related to the criminal acts of “Facilitating or compelling prostitution” and “Offering premises for prostitution.”
According to the prosecutor’s submission, there is reasonable suspicion that in June 2026, the defendant E.Gj. utilized his position as a manager to offer his motel premises in Ferizaj for the purpose of facilitating prostitution.
This action is alleged to constitute the criminal offense of “Offering premises for prostitution,” as defined under Article 235, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. Furthermore, the prosecutor stated that there is reasonable suspicion that during June 2026, in Ferizaj, the defendant also facilitated the practice of prostitution through means of affection. The proceedings in Ferizaj center on these allegations concerning the commercial exploitation of prostitution and the provision of locations for such activities.
The Prosecutor’s Office is seeking a judicial determination regarding the necessity and continuation of the pre-trial detention measure based on these documented suspicions.
