Accusers file charges against the person who attacked the bus with a machete in Pagarushë, Malisheva

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gjakova has filed criminal charges against an individual identified by the initials S.M. The accusations relate to the alleged commission of “Attempted Aggravated Murder” and “Unauthorized Possession, Control, or Possession of Weapons.”

The indictment, issued by the Department of Serious Crimes, details an incident that took place on April 11, 2026, at approximately 12:07 PM in the village of Pagarushë, within the Municipality of Malisheva. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the altercation reportedly stemmed from a dispute concerning a local bus route.

Following this disagreement, the suspect is accused of blocking the road using a tractor. Subsequently, the indictment alleges that the individual fired multiple shots from an automatic AK-47 type weapon toward a bus that was traveling through the area. Passengers F.K.

and H.K. were reportedly on board the bus at the time of the attack in Malisheva. The prosecutor’s statement confirms that the bus carrying passengers in Pagarushë, Malisheva, was targeted with the AK-47 weapon, and the suspect was subsequently apprehended.

The formal charges filed reflect the severity of the alleged actions, encompassing both the violent assault and the illegal handling of weaponry.
