The Kosovo Parliament approved the nomination of Aco Ristovini as a candidate for the position of Commissioner for Energy. A vote of 68 members supported Ristovini’s candidacy. Ristovini is a specialist in electrical engineering with extensive experience in the energy sector.
He holds a diploma focused on hydroelectric power and infrastructure systems. Throughout his career, Ristovini has been deeply involved in several significant projects. Notably, he played a key role in the development of a complex hydroelectric power plant, alongside work related to hydroelectric power plant and infrastructure systems.
His background encompasses a considerable period of experience within the field, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of energy infrastructure. The Parliament’s decision marks a step forward in the selection process for the Commissioner for Energy role. Ristovini’s qualifications and prior involvement in major energy projects were central to the support received.
He is now formally designated as a candidate for consideration for the position.
