After admitting guilt, the accused: Anyone who slanders the UÇK will face charges

Hysni Gucati, Chairman of the UÇK Veterans Organization, announced his intention to pursue ongoing legal action against any individuals who insult the Kosovo Liberation Army or its veterans. Gucati emphasized this commitment to legal recourse, particularly following the admission of guilt by Eqrem Avdullahu regarding slander directed at him. According to Gucati, he has already initiated other lawsuits targeting those who have issued threats.

Addressing the nature of the insults, he specifically mentioned false claims regarding his employment history, noting that allegations suggesting he received a salary for nine years without working in a school are untrue and unsustainable. He stated that he has entrusted the resolution of these matters to the justice system, which he expects to address the responsible parties. Gucati further indicated that this is not an isolated pattern of harassment.

He confirmed that he has filed numerous lawsuits previously and announced that additional legal actions are forthcoming from various international sources, including Germany and Austria. The Chairman stressed that his pursuit of justice will continue against anyone who continues to undermine the organization or threaten its members. His statements underscore a sustained effort to hold individuals accountable for defamation and threats made against the veterans’ group.
