Health Minister Azir Aliu and other officials held a conference to clarify the status of the VLEN political party. Aliu stated that the VLEN’s involvement was primarily a political matter, rather than an administrative one. He indicated that he was not a member of the coalition party and would not attend the party’s congress until May 9th.
“As a party, we have decided that Mimoza Musa will serve as vice-chairperson,” Aliu announced. “Furthermore, she will represent the Alliance for Albanians as a deputy, and her contributions should be recognized.”
He also confirmed plans to discuss organizational restructuring with the newly appointed Minister of Interior, Arben Feti. Aliu emphasized that discussions regarding government reorganization were not currently underway.
“This period is focused on organizational matters,” he explained. “Once the congress concludes, a clearer picture will emerge.”
He added that there were no planned dismissals or abrupt changes within the government structure.
