Kosovo police conducted an operation in the village of Jezerc, located in Ferizaj, following reports concerning the presence of weapons at a local residence. On June 27, 2026, authorities received intelligence indicating that a villa known as “Livadhet e Kishës” was equipped with firearms. In response to the information, the Investigation Unit of the police, working in coordination with the Rapid Response Unit, immediately dispatched personnel to the site.
Upon arrival, officers contacted the villa’s owner and other individuals present at the location. During the subsequent search of the premises, several weapons were discovered and seized. Specifically, officers recovered one pistol, which was found with a magazine containing three rounds.
This firearm, along with two additional shotguns, were confiscated from a suspect identified by the initials B.O., who is 30 years old. Following the seizure, the suspect reportedly admitted to having armed himself with firearms on two separate occasions. The local police confirmed that the state prosecutor has been notified regarding the incident and has taken appropriate measures to proceed with the investigation.
The operation underscores the continued efforts of the police to manage and secure weapons within the community of Jezerc. The investigation remains active as authorities process the seized materials and question those involved.
