The Kosovo Agency of Statistics has released the report, “Salary Level in Kosovo, 2025,” detailing recent shifts in national compensation levels. According to the report, the average gross salary across the country increased by 11.6% over the past year, reaching 713 euros. This figure represents a notable rise from the 639 euros reported in 2024.
Furthermore, the average net salary saw a more substantial increase of 15.2%, climbing to 636 euros from 552 euros the previous year. The data also provides a breakdown by sector, illustrating varying growth rates. In the public sector (administration), the average gross salary rose from 755 euros to 840 euros, reflecting an 11.3% increase.
Correspondingly, the average net salary within this sector grew from 668 euros to 744 euros, marking an 11.4% increase. For public enterprises, the upward trend in salary levels was even more pronounced. The average gross salary in these institutions increased by 16.8%, moving from 783 euros in 2024 to 915 euros in 2025.
These figures provide a detailed snapshot of the evolving compensation landscape in Kosovo, with all reported figures denominated in euros.
