The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (ASK) has released the official Hotel Statistics for May 2026, indicating an increase in the overall number of visitors to the country’s hotel sector compared to the previous year. According to data published by the ASK, a total of 69,081 visitors were registered in Kosovo’s hotels during May 2026. This total comprised 25,026 domestic visitors and 44,055 foreign visitors.
This represents an 11.5 percent increase when compared to the 61,931 visitors recorded in May 2025. In terms of accommodation usage, the sector recorded a total of 155,599 overnight stays during the reporting month. The breakdown of these stays shows that foreign visitors accounted for 88,957 overnight stays, representing 57.2 percent of the total, while domestic visitors were responsible for 66,042 stays.
