At the Tabanoc border crossing, entering the country, estimated wait times are currently reported at approximately 30 minutes. In contrast, at the Bogorodiçe crossing for exiting the country, the expected wait times are closer to one hour.
LAMM noted that, conversely, there are currently no reported wait times at other border points within the Macedonian jurisdiction for either entry or exit. Regarding internal travel, LAMM reports that communication along the state roads is proceeding without reported obstacles, and the surface conditions are dry. However, authorities have observed an increase in traffic intensity in areas outside of major urban centers.
Consequently, drivers are advised to exercise heightened caution. It is crucial for motorists to adjust their speeds accordingly, adhere strictly to all posted road signage, and maintain careful operation of their vehicles. Special attention is advised for several specific axes due to the possibility of rockslides.
These areas include the Katllanovë – Veles route, the Mavrovë – Dibër – Strugë corridor, the Vinicë – Berovë axis, and the Koçan – Dellçevë route. Adherence to local advisories and maintaining safe travel times are emphasized to ensure the safety of all road users traveling through these regions.
