The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Peja has filed criminal charges against an individual identified by the initials I.Z. The accusations relate to the alleged commission of “Attempted Aggravated Murder” and “Unauthorized Possession, Control, or Possession of Weapons.”
According to the Prosecutor’s official statement, the incident took place on January 13, 2026, at approximately 12:15 AM, inside a location within the municipality of Deçani. The indictment alleges that the suspect, reportedly motivated by the national belonging of the victims, attempted to take the lives of four individuals using a firearm.
The confrontation resulted in injuries to three people. The report specifies that three victims sustained gunshot wounds; two of these individuals suffered severe bodily injuries, while the third sustained minor injuries. The fourth person present was able to escape the attack without sustaining any injuries.
