The Minister of Energy, Mines and Mineral Resources, Sanja Bozhinovska, has unveiled a new public initiative to distribute vouchers for inverter air conditioners for the year 2026. This program is designed to assist financially disadvantaged citizen groups and lessen their overall energy expenditures. Bozhinovska highlighted that this year marks the inaugural implementation of a completely digital application process.

The entire procedure will be conducted through the ministry’s official website, www.aplikanti.energy.gov.mk, effectively removing waiting lines and streamlining the process for applicants. “This application is characterized by its speed, ease of use, and broad accessibility for all citizens who satisfy the necessary criteria,” bozhinovska explained. “We are undertaking a crucial step towards digitalization and enhanced operational effectiveness within our services through this measure.”

Specifically, the vouchers are targeted towards families containing individuals with disabilities.

The ministry’s focus on this electronic application reflects a commitment to improved energy efficiency and a more streamlined service delivery system.
