British woman falls from over 500 meters in front of horrified partner – during mountaineering hike in Spain

A 42-year-old woman died following a severe mountaineering accident in the Pyrenees mountains of northern Spain. According to reports from foreign media, the incident occurred while she and her partner were traversing the well-known hiking route called the Great Diagonal. The accident took place at the Balaitus peak, where the woman reportedly fell from a height exceeding 500 meters.
