Albana Bytyqi, a deputy for the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), announced that her party plans to adopt a constructive role in the processes concerning the establishment of new national institutions and the election of the country’s president. Speaking on Debat Plus, Bytyqi confirmed that the AAK conducted internal deliberations, culminating in a decision to formally address the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), Albin Kurti. This communication, she stated, will detail the party’s specific demands and proposals aimed at resolving the current institutional impasse.
According to Bytyqi, the AAK’s involvement must be markedly constructive to ensure both the successful election of a president and the smooth formation of necessary governmental structures. She elaborated that following a meeting with the parliamentary group, the decision was made to transmit this letter to Mr. Kurti.
Bytyqi emphasized the significance of the points raised within the document, asserting that the demands presented are crucial for the overall stability and direction of the nation. She concluded by reaffirming the AAK’s commitment to remaining actively engaged throughout the proceedings. The stated objective is to guide the political process toward a functional resolution, positioning the AAK as a key stakeholder invested in the country’s governance framework.
This measured approach underscores the AAK’s intent to contribute substantively to the political dialogue rather than adopting a purely oppositional stance.
