The location of the “Kreve Market” is changing; it is moving to Lower Bërnicë.

The designated location for the “Kreve Market” is undergoing a change, with the primary site shifting to Lower Bërnicë. Previously situated in the industrial zone toward the Kosovo Field, the vehicle market is slated for relocation to this new area. This new space is designed to serve multiple functions for the capital city beyond just the vehicle trade.

The facility was inaugurated on Tuesday as a project executed by the Capital Investments Directorate of the Municipality of Pristina. During the opening, Pristina Mayor Përparim Rama announced that the lower area will accommodate more than just the vehicle market. Furthermore, the lumber market is expected to operate temporarily within the space, and the designated polygon for driving schools will also be relocated to this site.

Mayor Rama also highlighted the multipurpose nature of the new location. On days when the market is not operational, the area will function as a “Park and Ride” facility. This will provide convenient parking for citizens traveling from surrounding areas and villages.

The move aims to centralize several key commercial and civic functions within the lower Bërnicë area.
