Changes are being made to circulation in two urban streets in Ferizaj

The Directorate of Public Services and Emergencies within the Municipality of Ferizaj has announced significant technical regulatory changes affecting the communication routes of “Ahmet Kaçiku” and “Brigada 161” streets. These new directives are scheduled to take effect on June 18, 2026. The primary objective of these modifications is to enhance overall vehicle circulation, bolster traffic safety measures, and improve the efficient management of movement throughout the designated urban area.

Under the revised regulations, access to the “Ilmi Hashani” street and the adjacent side streets near “The Village” shopping center will be restricted. Moving forward, all vehicular entry to these areas must utilize the “Brigada 161” thoroughfare. Furthermore, the regulations mandate a complete alteration of traffic flow on “Ahmet Kaçiku” street; entry from this street will no longer be permitted, designating it solely for vehicle exit points.

These comprehensive changes represent a systematic effort to optimize the flow of traffic within the municipality. The updated rules specifically exclude fast-food establishments, naming “KFC” and “Burger” as entities unaffected by the primary route adjustments. Authorities emphasize that adhering to these new guidelines is crucial for maintaining optimal urban circulation and ensuring pedestrian and vehicle safety across the affected sectors.

The public is advised to review the detailed notice from the Directorate for full implementation guidelines.
