The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has issued a directive informing the public and commercial operators about a temporary restriction on vehicle movement scheduled for Thursday. This measure is a response to the official temperature forecast, which predicts conditions reaching 32°C or higher. Consequently, a temporary restriction will be implemented for freight vehicles with a total mass exceeding 20 tons.
This specific restriction will apply to highway routes between 11:00 AM and 5:30 PM. The notice clarifies that certain categories of vehicles are exempt from this measure. These exemptions include those belonging to law enforcement agencies, public security forces, emergency services, and healthcare institutions.
For all other modes of transport, general circulation remains permitted without limitations on national, regional, or connecting roads. The Ministry advises all operators and drivers to adhere strictly to the stipulated schedule and plan their circulation accordingly to ensure compliance with the temporary restriction. The directive emphasizes that adherence to this temporary measure is necessary given the forecasted high temperatures.
