The Municipality of Pristina has issued a directive regarding upcoming infrastructure works affecting the Afrim Zhitia street. The construction is scheduled to take place on a specific segment of the road, spanning from the Technical Faculty traffic lights to the Student Canteen traffic lights, specifically on the right side heading toward the dormitories. Due to these necessary upgrades, the Afrim Zhitia street will be closed to traffic for a period beginning at 8:00 PM on April 15th and concluding at 8:00 PM on April 20th.
The works will be managed by the Directorate of Capital Investments and Contract Management. To ensure continuity of movement during this time, alternative routes have been designated for all traffic participants. Drivers are advised to utilize “Xheladin Rekaliu” and “Edmond Hoxha” streets as viable detours.
The municipality requests the cooperation of all road users to adhere strictly to the signage that will be installed throughout the construction zone. Compliance with these temporary measures is essential to allow the infrastructure works on Afrim Zhitia to proceed efficiently and minimize disruption.
