Consumers in the village of Komogllavë are advised to avoid using water for drinking and cooking.

The regional water utility, KRU “Bifurkacioni,” has issued a public advisory for residents in the village of Komogllavë, advising against the use of tap water for both drinking and food preparation until further notice. According to the official notification, the precautionary measure is in place due to ongoing infrastructure works affecting the water supply system in the adjacent village of Gërlicë. The utility confirmed that the current water supply cannot be safely utilized for consumption purposes until the necessary repairs are completed and the quality is verified.

KRU “Bifurkacioni” teams are currently engaged in intensive efforts to finalize the necessary works as quickly as possible. The advisory specifies that once the construction is finished, the water quality must undergo rigorous testing and relevant analyses. Only after these tests confirm that the water meets safety standards will the utility issue a subsequent announcement.

This notification will advise consumers regarding the resumption of normal water use for the community. Residents are urged to await official confirmation before relying on the tap water for drinking or cooking within the village area.
