Derivative prices, gasoline prices rise

The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship has released the maximum prices for fuel derivatives for both today and tomorrow. According to the Ministry’s announcement, the price of oil is set at 1.63 euro-cents per liter for both days. The price of gasoline is 1.44 euro-cents per liter, marking a two-cent increase compared to Saturday’s rate.

The price for gas is set at 0.60 cents per liter. Notably, the price of oil remains consistent with yesterday’s rate at 1.63 euro-cents. This differs from the price recorded two days ago, when a liter of oil cost 1.66 euro-cents.

The Ministry’s release of derivative prices follows fluctuations in the global market. In response to the conflict that began in the Middle East on February 28, oil prices in Kosovo had previously reached as high as 1.91 euro-cents per liter. The escalating tensions stemmed from American and Israeli attacks across Iran on February 28, which prompted retaliatory actions from Iran against Israel and other nations.

These geopolitical factors continue to influence the local fuel prices.
