Domestic violence, eight cases in the last 24 hours

MPB Macedonia has reported that authorities detained five individuals following investigations into eight reported instances of domestic violence over the preceding 24 hours. The reports detail multiple incidents of domestic conflict that required police intervention. One notable case occurred on June 30, 2026, at 9:30 PM, when police officers from NJPB Prilep detained an individual identified as Z.D., aged 38, from Prilep.

The detention followed allegations that Z.D. had threatened his father and subsequently inflicted an injury upon himself using a glass object. Authorities have stated that a comprehensive investigation is underway to fully determine the circumstances surrounding this event.

Earlier on the same day, at 8:10 PM, police detained F.A., aged 28, from Tetova. This action followed a report detailing that F.A. had physically attacked his aunt and uncle around 7:25 PM.

Following the thorough documentation of the incident, appropriate criminal charges are expected to be filed against him. The reported incidents of domestic violence spanned multiple locations and times, including an event recorded on July 1, 2026, at 1:15 AM. Overall, the police response addressed a total of eight recorded cases of domestic conflict, resulting in the detention of five persons during the reporting period.

Authorities continue to investigate the totality of the events to ensure all legal procedures are followed.
