Kosovo police have reportedly arrested an individual wanted in connection with several serious criminal offenses following an operation conducted in the Karaqevë e Poshtme border area. According to official police reports, the incident occurred on August 3rd, shortly after 10:00 PM. Border Police officers were patrolling the SPMK-Muqivërcë sector when they observed a suspicious vehicle moving from the direction of Breznice, Serbia, into Kosovo’s territory.
The police successfully stopped the vehicle in the village of Novosellë. During the subsequent inspection, the passenger, identified as Egzon Reshani, reportedly attempted to flee the officers by running on foot toward the border line, heading in the direction of Breznice. Following these actions, the police were able to apprehend Reshani.
Authorities stated that the police are currently seeking cooperation from the public regarding suspicions of attempted murder linked to Egzon Reshani. The successful arrest underscores the ongoing efforts by the police to secure the border and maintain law and order within Kosovo.
