Eight Individuals Detained Following Investigation in Mitrovica
Eight suspects have been placed under one-month detention by the Basic Court in Mitrovica, with branches operating in Vushtri and Skenderaj. The detention follows an investigation into alleged pyramid schemes and illegal business operations within the Mitrovica region. Six of the individuals are currently held at the Vushtri branch of the court, while the remaining two are being detained at the Skenderaj branch.
The Prosecution of Mitrovica initiated the request for the security measure, encompassing a total of 27 individuals. Hearings were conducted today across three locations: Mitrovica, Vushtri, and Skenderaj, as part of the ongoing investigation. The operation, which took place on April 18th, was carried out by the Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica in collaboration with the Police.
