The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has announced a temporary circulation restriction affecting heavy vehicles on Monday, August 3rd. This measure has been implemented following an official temperature forecast. According to the ministry’s statement, the restriction will be in effect on the highway between 11:00 AM and 5:30 PM, as the forecasted temperature is expected to reach 32°C or higher.
Conversely, circulation on national, regional, and connecting roads will remain unrestricted. The mandate specifies that vehicles exceeding 20 tons are subject to this temporary limitation. Exemptions from the restriction are granted to law enforcement, public security services, emergency services, and health institutions.
The ministry advised all operators and drivers to adhere strictly to the specified schedule and plan their movements accordingly. This measure aims to manage traffic flow and address conditions related to high temperatures.
