Ferrari issues an official response following rumors of pressure on clients to buy Luce

A month following the debut of the highly anticipated Ferrari Luce, the brand’s inaugural electric vehicle, various market rumors have surfaced. A report published by Bloomberg alleged that some dealerships were reportedly pressuring clients to order the Luce. According to the report, this pressure was purportedly linked to clients wishing to avoid jeopardizing their status as key patrons or risking future access to Ferrari’s most exclusive, limited-production models.

However, these claims have been officially refuted by Ferrari management. Enrico Galliera, the company’s Marketing Director, issued a direct rebuttal during an interview with Automoto.it, addressing the circulating speculation. Galliera stated that many rumors concerning the current state of the Ferrari market are inaccurate.

He clarified the company’s intended positioning for the new model. Galliera emphasized that Ferrari’s stance has remained consistent from the outset: the Luce was engineered with a specific client profile in mind. The Director indicated that the vehicle is designed for a distinct segment of the clientele, rather than being a mandatory acquisition for existing premium customers.

This statement directly counters the suggestion that purchasing the Luce is a prerequisite for maintaining favored status within the Ferrari ecosystem. The official clarification aims to dispel the persistent rumors and clarify the market strategy surrounding the debut of the new Luce model.
