Two individuals were arrested in Obiliq after a physical altercation reportedly stemming from a disagreement over property. According to the Kosovo Police, the incident occurred on June 27, 2026, near 7:30 PM. The suspects, identified as brothers, initially engaged in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical fight.
As a direct consequence of the altercation, one of the individuals sustained bodily injuries requiring medical treatment. Authorities recovered and confiscated a metal machete from the scene, which is suspected to have been used during the confrontation. Following questioning, and at the discretion of the prosecutor, the brothers were detained at the holding center for 48 hours to allow for the ongoing investigation of the case.
