The Ministry of Defence reports that over the preceding 24 hours, authorities recorded 21 instances of fire outbreaks. Of these incidents, six remain classified as active, while an additional seven are currently under observation. To manage the overall situation, a significant deployment of resources was mobilized, including 354 operational forces and 24 fire trucks.
Support personnel included 155 members of the Armed Forces, alongside three additional fire trucks, one heavy excavator, three helicopters, and two Air Tractor planes. Operations are ongoing at Dajti Mountain, where 30 FA personnel continue to support efforts. For this specific location, 25 MZSH personnel, 5 ADZM personnel, 30 FA personnel, and various air assets were engaged in controlling the situation.
Authorities confirmed that there is currently no risk posed to inhabited areas. Separately, at Qafa e Helmes, Bulqizë, the fire at two outbreaks within a dense pine forest was reactivated. To bring this localized situation under control, 11 MZSH personnel were deployed to the area.
Overall efforts are focused on managing the active fire sites while maintaining safety protocols across all reported incidents.
