From inherited lands to bank savings, what does Fatjon Pec’s wealth hold?

South Mitrovica Mayor Submits Wealth Declaration, Reveals Significant Assets

South Mitrovica Mayor Faton Peci has submitted his annual wealth declaration to the Anti-Corruption Agency, detailing his financial holdings as of 2026. The declaration reveals a portfolio primarily comprised of inherited assets, alongside holdings in bank accounts and income derived from his municipal role. According to the registry, Mr.

Peci’s assets total millions of euros. A significant portion of his wealth is attributed to a substantial art collection and real estate investments, notably properties located in London. The document outlines four key immovable assets.

These include a five-acre plot of land, inherited in 1958 and valued at 250,000 euros, as well as a 144 square meter house inherited in 2003, assessed at 40,000 euros. The remaining assets are jointly owned. The submission of this declaration is a standard practice for municipal officials in Kosovo, intended to promote transparency and accountability.

Further details of Mr. Peci’s financial holdings are available through the Anti-Corruption Agency’s public records.
