He specifically addressed accusations leveled by Serbs, alleging that they frequently label portions of the country as Bulgarian.
Georgievski cited examples of these claims, including instances where Serbs have characterized figures like Goce Dellcev and Dame Gruev as Bulgarian agents. He also referenced the OBRM – Popular – being described as a Bulgarian terrorist organization, and ongoing assertions by individuals in Central Macedonia regarding the region’s Bulgarian identity. He cited specific instances, including events in Vallandovë and Ramne Ohridsko, and recurring themes in celebrations related to the liberation of Old Serbia.
Georgievski argued that “no legitimate Macedonian patriot is showing signs of life.” He suggested that Bulgaria was exploiting vulnerabilities within Macedonia, asserting that the process of “Bulgarianization” was being facilitated through the actions of Serbia.
