The Central Election Commission concluded its third and final conference concerning the voting process at the diplomatic missions representing the Republic of Kosovo. During this session, detailed data regarding the participation of Kosovo citizens electing abroad was presented to attendees. According to the published figures, by 7:00 PM, the cumulative voter turnout across all diplomatic missions reached 22,414 voters.
This figure represents 80.85 percent of the total 27,724 citizens who were registered to cast their votes at the embassies and consulates. Analysis of the participation rates highlighted several locations with particularly high engagement. Germany recorded significant levels of voting activity, with specific centers showing robust turnout.
In Düsseldorf, 2,977 citizens participated, achieving an 81.21% turnout. Munich saw 2,222 voters, representing 79.05% participation, while Stuttgart reported 2,200 voters at a rate of 77.90%. Frankfurt also showed strong turnout, with 1,590 voters contributing to an 84.08% rate.
High levels of voter engagement were also documented in Switzerland. The Commission noted that the overall success of the voting effort at these key diplomatic posts underscores the commitment of the diaspora. The data confirms that the process for overseas voting was largely completed, providing a clear picture of citizen participation across various international locations.
