Governor Ismaili: BQK transfers nearly 38 million euros to the state budget in the last three years

The Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili, has announced the approval of the Central Bank of Kosovo’s (CBK) annual financial statements for 2025. These statements underwent an audit by an independent external auditor and received an unqualified opinion, which affirms the institution’s financial stability, transparency, and adherence to high standards of institutional governance. Focusing on the 2025 financial results, Governor Ismaili emphasized the CBK’s sustained contribution to public finances.

He noted that for the third consecutive year, the CBK transferred revenues to the state budget. According to the financial results detailed in a notice, the CBK generated net revenues amounting to 24 million euros in 2025. Of this total, 12 million euros are slated for transfer to the state budget.

The remaining balance will be allocated to the bank’s reserves. Governor Ismaili’s confirmation of the audited statements provides assurance regarding the robust financial health of the central bank. The structured transfer of funds underscores the CBK’s role in supporting national fiscal objectives while maintaining its own reserve capacity.

This reporting confirms the consistent operational performance and governance integrity of the institution for the specified period.
