The Ministry of Education and Science has concluded the processing of the 2026 Achievement Test results. The assessment involved a total of 21,982 students, yielding an overall national average achievement rate of 48.35%. The highest levels of achievement were recorded in English Language, which scored at 65.97%, followed by History at 62.23%, and Albanian Language at 54.63%. Conversely, the data highlighted areas requiring immediate attention. The lowest achievement rates were noted in Chemistry at 37.68% and Mathematics at 37.93%.
Other subjects with lower reported scores included Biology (40.83%), Physics (45.33%), Informatics (47.87%), and Geography (47.84%). According to the Ministry, the comprehensive results of this achievement test serve as a crucial metric reflecting the level of knowledge acquisition achieved by students upon completing lower secondary education.
