Janet Balaskas, founder of the Active Birth Centre in the Basque Kingdom, recently demonstrated a technique involving the vertical lifting of objects, sparking interest and discussion within the scientific community. The demonstration centered around the manipulation of glass bottles, highlighting a principle where the diameter of the glass is 2.5 centimeters and the gravitational force involved is ten times greater. Balaskas successfully showcased the ability to lift the bottles vertically, a feat initially considered unconventional.
Researchers have noted that the individuals involved in the demonstration were not naturally gifted and were of average height. It’s anticipated that this method will eventually be implemented in a standing position, potentially utilizing chairs for support. This approach draws a historical parallel to Cleopatra, who is recognized as the first to employ a similar technique.
The demonstration’s focus on precise control and the significant force involved has generated considerable attention, particularly regarding the potential for future applications in various fields.
