Bedri Hamza, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, stated that he would not respond to meeting requests received via WhatsApp, stressing that all such communications must be formal. Speaking to Rubikon on Klan Kosova, Hamza emphasized that any invitation for a meeting requires clear, documented content. Hamza asserted, “If Kurti invites us to a meeting, the invitation must be official, an invitation with content, so that the response is also official.
Not via WhatsApp.” He explained his reluctance to engage in informal discussions, stating, “The reason is that I do not want that after the meeting, whose content I do not know, we come out and I use the meeting in the way that suits me, or someone else uses it in the way that suits them.”
The Chairman underlined the necessity of proper procedure for any high-level engagement. According to Hamza, the process moving forward must be structured around Kosovo’s state interests. He concluded by stating that the PDK’s priorities remain focused on these national issues, and that any subsequent steps can only proceed after these core concerns have been mutually agreed upon.
Therefore, any formal invitation must adhere to established protocols to ensure transparency and accountability.
