Gjini Praises Haradinaj as Key Figure for Alliance for the Future of Kosovo
Prishtina, Kosovo – Ardian Gjini, the candidate for prime minister of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), highlighted the continued importance of party leader Ramush haradinaj during a recent statement. Gjini emphasized haradinaj’s symbolic role within the AAK and its representation of Kosovo’s future. Details emerged regarding haradinaj’s placement on the party’s electoral list.
Gjini explained that haradinaj had initially requested to be positioned as the 110th candidate, the last on the list. However, following internal discussions, the party determined a higher placement was necessary. “Ramush haradinaj is with us, he is on the list,” Gjini stated.
“He initially requested to be number 110, that is, the last in the list. We assessed that he should be higher and he was ultimately placed in number 11. This was not my personal decision, but a proposal that was discussed within the party.”
Furthermore, haradinaj has declined to lead the list or seek the position of party leader in the upcoming election.
The decision reflects a shift within the AAK leadership structure as the party prepares for the vote.
