Haxhi awaited Minister Hoxha, requesting the continuation of support for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic path

Former President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, recently met with the Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Ferit Hoxha. During the discussions, Haxhiu acknowledged Minister Hoxha’s contribution to the international representation of Albania, expressing wishes for success in his current role. Haxhiu noted that Hoxha has served as a vocal representative for Kosovo when the country faced limitations in its own voice.

The primary focus of the meeting was strengthening the bilateral relationship between Kosovo and Albania. Key areas of discussion included coordinating foreign policy efforts and ensuring the effective implementation of agreements previously signed by both nations. Haxhiu emphasized the profound historical, linguistic, and national proximity shared by Kosovo and Albania.

According to Haxhiu, these deep-rooted connections provide a robust foundation for enhancing institutional cooperation and launching collaborative projects that directly benefit the citizens of both countries. Furthermore, a significant portion of the conversation was dedicated to the shared trajectory toward European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The meeting underscored the mutual commitment of both nations to advance their respective integration processes.

The engagement between Haxhiu and the Albanian ministry reaffirms the ongoing strategic importance of the ties between Kosovo and Albania as they navigate regional and international political landscapes.
