Haxhiu: We are not satisfied with this result; the goals were high

Bekim Haxhiu, representing the PDK, commented on the party’s performance following the conclusion of the recent election process. Haxhiu stated that the party is not satisfied with the results, noting that expectations were higher than the final outcome. He also suggested that a portion of the PDK electorate may have chosen not to vote.

Preliminary data released by the Central Election Commission detailed the election results. The Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) secured the highest percentage of votes at 42.91%. The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) received 21.08% of the vote, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 17.60%.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) garnered 7.17%, while the Serbian List obtained 6.17%. In his statement, Haxhiu expressed that the party was not satisfied with the outcome, attributing the shortfall partly to lower voter turnout among its base. The reported figures provide a clear breakdown of support across the major political entities participating in the parliamentary elections.
