Heavy rainfall has been reported across several areas of Kosovo recently, notably affecting Istog, Deçani, and Rahovec. The downpours in these regions lasted for periods ranging from 30 to 60 minutes and were marked by increased intensity. Despite the downpours, reports indicate that the rainfall did not lead to significant disruptions in circulation or damage to infrastructure.
Similar weather patterns were observed in the Municipality of Klina, where the rainfall was temporary and concluded within a short timeframe. While the torrential rain in Klina resulted in street flooding, there were no official reports of specific damage or operational difficulties. Preliminary data suggests that such weather events are considered a normal atmospheric development for the summer season, which can occasionally feature short but more intense periods of precipitation.
Local authorities have not issued any reports of incidents related to the heavy rainfall.
