The Hydrometeorological Institute has issued a forecast indicating sunny weather conditions for Kosovo today. According to the Institute, minimum temperatures are expected to range between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius, with maximum temperatures projected to be between 27 and 33 degrees Celsius. Winds are anticipated to come from the southwest at speeds of 1–4 m/s.
Additionally, the IHK has noted a gradual increase in temperatures over the coming weekend. More detailed forecasts from the IHMK predict a steady rise in temperatures across the entirety of Kosovo from April 25–29, 2026. The Dukagjini region is forecast to experience a Level 2 heat wave, while other parts of the country are expected to remain at Level 1.
The IHK reports that on Saturday, Peja, Gjakova, and Prizren will reach a moderate heat wave, designated as Level 2, with potential temperatures climbing to 35–39°C. Even on Sunday, April 28, the Dukagjini region is expected to remain under elevated heat conditions.
