How a serious crime was discovered in Tirana: A cell phone betrayed Armand Shakaj after the body went missing

The investigation culminated at the village of Cërrujë, where Armand Shakaj reportedly finalized the criminal plan concerning the disappearance of his friend, Eglant Koçi’s body. According to reports, the incident began on April 4th, when Shakaj allegedly executed Eglant Koçi by shooting him in the head at his premises and offices situated near the “Ismail Qemali” school in Tirana. The following day, April 5th, Armand Shakaj reportedly orchestrated the disappearance of the body using a method described as highly organized.

He placed Koçi’s body into his “Porsche” vehicle. Shakaj then transported the car via a trailer to the village of Ibë, reportedly to obscure any immediate tracks related to the crime. He informed the trailer driver that the vehicle was being taken to a service station.

Subsequently, Shakaj traveled from Ibë toward the village of Cërrujë. This location was reportedly familiar to him, as he frequented the area for motorcycle racing. The narrative details the calculated movements designed to conceal the evidence.

The focus of the investigation remains on the disposal of the body and the subsequent movements of Armand Shakaj following the fatal incident.
