The Government of Kosovo, through its Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, has announced a continuation of substantial investments aimed at developing key infrastructure within the Municipality of Pristina. The total value allocated for these ongoing projects amounts to 9 million euros. The Ministry confirmed that three distinct agreements have been formalized in partnership with the Municipality of Pristina to facilitate the realization of these vital infrastructure upgrades.
These planned projects include the connection of the Kolovicë–Sofali road, the expansion and continuation of the “Bajram Bahtiri” road into a four-lane thoroughfare, and establishing a connection point to the Lakrisha roundabout. Specific funding details highlight the scope of the work. For the “Bajram Bahtiri” road continuation alone, a total value of 2.9 million euros is earmarked, with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport contributing 1.4 million euros toward this segment.
Overall, the 9 million euro investment package involves a diverse allocation of funds. Of the total sum, 4.3 million euros, representing approximately 47 percent, will be utilized for specific project components, while the remaining funds are dedicated to completing the comprehensive infrastructure goals outlined by the ministry. These investments underscore the government’s commitment to modernizing Pristina’s transport network.
