The official harvest-sowing campaign has commenced in the Municipality of Gjilani. Mayor Alban Hyseni marked the beginning of the harvest season with a visit to farmers in the village of Zhegër. Accompanied by the director of the Horticulture Department, Driton Sylejmani, Hyseni reviewed the agricultural work in progress and engaged with local farmers regarding their current challenges and requirements.
The Mayor of Gjilani stated that his visit allowed him to inspect substantial areas cultivated with various crops and communicate directly with the agricultural community. “I spent a wonderful day in the field with my hardworking farmers,” Hyseni stated. “We had the pleasure of meeting Alfons, with whom we discussed the significant efforts underway on these 75 hectares of land planted with wheat and barley.”
