The Public Hydroeconomic Enterprise “Ibër-Lepenc” has initiated an official operation aimed at reclaiming several properties situated within the Ujmani lake area in Kosovo. Veton Elshani, the Deputy Police Director for the North Region, confirmed that law enforcement personnel are providing assistance to facilitate the execution of this operation.
This effort follows a prior warning and preliminary request issued by Ibër-Lepenc to eleven individuals identified as the “owners.” These individuals had constructed various structures and holiday homes on land belonging to the enterprise in the Ujmani area. Sources indicate that Ibër-Lepenc is undertaking this clearing process to recover properties that have reportedly been occupied for an estimated twenty years.
