In the fight against online piracy, AMA announces the closure of another illegal platform

The Audio-Visual Media Authority (AMA) has taken further action against online piracy, confirming that the unauthorized streaming site “shqiperia.dev” is no longer accessible. This development was announced by AMA Director, Armela Krasniqi, via a social media update. Krasniqi stated that the AMA officially reported the platform for copyright infringement.

Following this complaint, Cloudflare promptly responded, confirming the violation and identifying the hosting service providers that were supporting the site’s operation. As a direct result of this collaborative effort, the platform has been taken offline. The AMA reiterated its commitment to combating illegal content distribution.

Krasniqi noted that the authority will maintain continuous monitoring and will continue to report any suspicious platforms engaged in unauthorized broadcasting. This action underscores the AMA’s ongoing efforts to protect intellectual property rights within the media sector. The measures taken highlight the effectiveness of regulatory bodies working in conjunction with technology firms to enforce copyright laws and safeguard licensed content providers against piracy.
