Instagram Plus allows your stories to last longer with a monthly subscription fee.

Instagram is currently piloting a new subscription service, dubbed “Plus,” across a limited number of countries. Meta has officially announced the testing phase, which is presently underway in the Philippines, Mexico, and Japan. The initial cost for accessing this premium offering is set at 65 Philippine Pesos, 39 Mexican Pesos, and 319 Japanese Yen.

These figures roughly equate to $2 for Mexico and Japan, and $1 for the Philippines, as reported by Telegrafi. Subscribers gain access to a range of enhanced features with this monthly payment. Users can establish multiple story audiences, receive alerts when story content is altered, and search through lists of viewers who have seen their stories.

Furthermore, the Instagram Plus subscription allows for story previews, extends the lifespan of stories by 24 hours, enables the sending of super hearts within stories, and provides the option to prominently highlight individual stories. During the trial period, users in the participating markets benefit from a complimentary first month of service. This Instagram Plus subscription is currently being evaluated.
