Iranian President Hassan Rouhani accused a senior Iranian official, Hossein Musarrat, of inciting aggression against Iran in the Persian Gulf. Rouhani stated that Musarrat is a “provocateur” involved in regional actions targeting Iran. He further asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s illusions have been shattered.
Rouhani’s comments come amid ongoing tensions in the region, particularly concerning maritime trade routes and security. The Iranian government has repeatedly expressed concerns about foreign military presence in the area.
