The Municipality of Kaçanik has successfully completed the installation of two new water pumps, an initiative designed to significantly boost capacity and enhance the overall supply of drinking water throughout the municipality. Officials, including the Mayor and municipal staff, recently inspected the ongoing works associated with the project titled “Construction of Reservoirs in Dushkajë and the Pumping Station in Provoli.”
According to Arian Teneqja, the Director of Public Services and Emergency, the project is financed entirely through the municipal budget. This development represents a key component of planned investments aimed at expanding infrastructure and improving the resilience of the local drinking water supply system.
As part of the comprehensive effort, the new water pumps, along with their requisite supporting systems, were installed at a site near the former Lime Factory. These newly operational pumps are now ready for immediate use by the community. These upgrades underscore the municipality’s commitment to public works and reliable resource management.
The overall infrastructure enhancement aims to ensure that the community receives a consistent and improved supply of clean water. The municipality continues to undertake necessary investments to modernize its utilities, with further developments, including those related to the KRU “Bifurkacioni,” expected to follow to support the region’s growing needs.
