A man was arrested at the Klokot border crossing following a routine check by police on Friday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. during a standard inspection of vehicles and individuals crossing the border.
During the check, officers discovered a pistol, legally registered to a vendor, that had been implicated in a shooting involving a Kosovar man. Subsequently, a search of the individual’s vehicle revealed 50 rounds of ammunition intended for a 9mm pistol, along with a radio. As a result of these findings, police initiated an investigation and obtained a search warrant, leading to the arrest of the individual.
He was formally charged with illegal possession of weapons and illegal possession of a firearm. Authorities are currently undertaking a formal procedure, which may include the seizure of the individual’s property. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released as they become available.
