European Commission Commends Albania’s Progress in Integration Process

Brussels – European Commission Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos has affirmed Albania’s position as a leading country within the EU integration process, according to an interview published today. Speaking with Klan News, Kos detailed Albania’s advancements in meeting European standards. “We anticipate being able to adopt all interim standards relating to the rule of law by May,” Kos stated.

“Following this, we will commence the process of closing individual chapters within the integration framework.” She highlighted the significant progress made by Albania in recent years, noting the successful opening of all previously designated chapters.
